In May 2014, Miranda began working as an associate of Twyfords. With work in Australia and New Zealand, the team at Twyfords operate a collaborative governance pathway called the Power of Co.  This is a road map for achieving enduring solutions to complex dilemmas.

Miranda trained in the principles of Future Search back in 1999. She operates as a member of the Future Search Network with ability to design and facilitate a Future Search event.

The FISHinFuture Search event run in February 2013 was the first nationwide Future Search run in New Zealand. Miranda was instrumental in enabling the FISHinFuture Search event.
